Terms of Use

Plain-language terms for using Class League. It's a small classroom tool, so I've kept these short.

Last updated: 4 June 2026

The short version

Class League is a small, independent classroom tool. By using it you agree to the points below. If anything here is unclear, get in touch through the Contact form on the homepage.

What Class League is

Class League is a classroom fantasy-football-style game for teachers to run with their students. Teachers create and manage a league, and students follow and manage a team within it.

Who can use it

Teachers create and manage leagues. Students only access their team using codes given to them by a teacher. There is no public sign-up for students.

Teacher responsibility

If you are a teacher, you are responsible for the student names or nicknames you enter, the points you award and how you use Class League in your school. Please follow your school's own policies and use names that are appropriate to share within your class.

Student access

Students do not create accounts. They should only use the codes given to them by their teacher, and only to access their own class league.

Acceptable use

Please use Class League sensibly. Do not enter offensive names or abusive content, misuse codes, try to access leagues that are not yours, disrupt the service or use it for anything unlawful.

If an account is used in breach of these terms, I may suspend or remove it, along with the leagues and data linked to it. Where it is practical and appropriate, I will get in touch first.

Availability

I will try to keep Class League working and available, but I cannot guarantee it will always be online or free of errors. I may change, pause or withdraw features as the service develops.

A new service

Class League is new and still developing. Features may be added, altered or removed as it improves.

Your content and data

Teachers can delete a league at any time, which removes the student teams, codes, bonus history and class lists in it. The privacy page explains what data is stored and how it is handled.

When a school uses Class League with pupils, the school is the data controller and Class League is the data processor. The Data Processing Agreement sets out how I handle pupil data on your school's behalf.

Payment

Class League is free to use. If I introduce paid plans later, I'll set out the payment terms clearly before you are asked to pay anything.

Contact

Class League is built and operated by David Riley, also the creator of Triptico. Reach me through the Contact form on the homepage.

Updates

I'll list any changes to these terms here, with a date. The current version is the first publication, dated 26 May 2026.
